Job Description

Responsible for proper loading, unloading, conditioning, blending and storage of grain.

Job Description

Job Location: Kinsman, Ohio           

Job Type: Part-time, 1-3 days per week. Possibly one week on/one week off schedule

Years of Experience: 0                                                                                 

  • Load grain into shipping containers efficiently while meeting all grade & shipping criteria.
  • Unload inbound grain trucks  quickly while providing excellent customer service.
  • Efficiently operate facility equipment, such as grain dryers, cleaners, conveyors, receiving legs, and aeration fans.
  • General maintenance and repair such as belt changes.
  • Engage in facility clean-up, and comply with all housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Engage in safety awareness, and comply with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

  • Demonstrated attitude which reflects pride in job, and spirit of cooperation with the team.
  • Strong commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work at heights, work within confined spaces, climb stair and ladders, and function in a variety of weather conditions
  • Ability and willingness to work long hours and nights, as business conditions warrant.
  • Vision requirements: Ability to see color, see at a distance and tiny objects at close range.
  • Good sense of smell to identify moldy or sour grain.
  • Mechanical ability
  • Arithmetic – ability to add & subtract in hear
  • Previous experience in a grain elevator or farm setting is beneficial, but not required

    Drive semi-truck with trailer, flat bed with tanks, bulk tender dry fertilizer to transport grain, seed, chemicals, equipment, or other materials to specified destinations, while providing great customer service to our customers.

    Perform service  and repair work on company-owned grain facilities throughout Northeastern Ohio.

    Job Description

    Troubleshoot and repair grain handling, drying & storage equipment

    • Perform scheduled & non-scheduled maintenance.
    • Maintain  maintenance records via maintenance software/app
    • Travel locally to company-owned facilities
    • Weld & fabricate – Millwright skills
    • Troubleshoot electrical issues & repair as needed
    • Assist at the facility as needed in other areas during the peak seasons, or anytime there is a need in other departments

    • Able to climb stairs & ladders, and function in a variety of weather conditions
